do you shop at HOLLISTER?
Chloe loves it.
whenever I am in that store I have to smile to myself
there is such a beach vibe. seagull logo. surf boards.
even a wall sized screen broadcasting live beach action
from Huntington Beach, CA.... surf capital, USA.
yes, I can't help but smile . . . because
I'm a California girl
so, I have been to the real Hollister
and I've spent many happy days in the surf at Huntington Beach

and...while they would have you believe that Hollister looks

and...while they would have you believe that Hollister looks
like this:
located in a small agricultural valley
off Highway 152, between low mountains,
it's pastoral and green and lovely........
but one thing is for sure,
it isn't the beach

Great geography lesson!
Maybe the Ad Men in NYC thought "Huntington, Hollister, what's the difference to a kid in Kansas". Hollister is beautiful farm land. You'll never see someone surfing in Hollister unless they are being pulled by a tractor through a field of artichokes.
Haha... that's awesome. Hollister is actually a big dirt-biking place... they have lots of competitions there. Again, not quite the beach-going type of crowd.
Ha, that's silly. :)
looks like a nice place. i love farm country. reminds me of childhood summertimes at my grandparents farm.
Funny. I don't shop there, but when one came to Fresno a while back I thought to myself.....Hollister? like the town you drive through to get to the beach?
who knew!
Gotta love Hollister, the gateway to the central valley. Seeing that picture of me with the oranges reminds me how delicious they were!
I didn't know that! Why didn't they name the store something else then? Weirdos :) I do like the way it smells in Hollister though.
