my ENTIRE front and side yard is

Such a dramatic difference! Way to go to all the hard workers :-)!
I had a bunch of fire ants in my knickers after that day... I looked like I had small pox.
We laid over 7,000 square feet of sod. That was very hard work.

Your HOA needs to read this entry to understand the effects of abiding to their regulations. Though your yard has seen better days, such as how it looks now, your check book probably enjoyed the one day a week rule.
The yard looks great and I'm glad the HOA doesn't have their knickers in a bunch anymore. :)
