My heart is heavy today.

My dear father returned to our Father in Heaven last night.

I wish I could be there to see the joyful reunion

with his parents and brothers and son.

I am so happy for him to be free of discomfort.

I am very sad.

I love my precious daddy, so very much.

This world, my world, will not be the same without him

.....but we are better for having had him in it.

Today we are traveling to Oklahoma City

to enjoy Thanksgiving with Brittany and Mike and their families.

Then, we will travel on to California for a Tuesday funeral.

Diane,

I'm so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I have a memory of being at the Gibbs' as a child and your dad made me pancakes shaped like Micky Mouse. I loved them. He will be missed.

Love,

Sara

Oh Diane, I'm so sorry. I really am. I didn't know your dad, but through your blog, I feel like I have gotten to know him VERY well. I am so sorry for your loss. It's hard to loose the ones we love. I'm sure he and Wyatt are very busy up there. What a wonderful reunion they are having. I hope you have a good Thanksgiving. *insert hug here*s

Dear Freeman Family,

Having our love ones return to Heavenly Father is just hard. WE know they are having the time of their next lives with family and friends. WE just miss them to pieces!

You are all wonderful and your faith is so strong and you are going to have wonderful memories to share and laugh and cry together with.

Be safe and just write all the memories down for the grandbabies.
