I Like Fashion

Photobucket

Years ago, I took one of those tests to identify my fashion style

I was the "The Classic" type

no big surprise there

clean classic lines, neutral colors, no prints, that's me

ruffles are a rarity in my closet

Each season, I invest in 2-3 trendy items to update my wardrobe

For Fall/Winter 2009

I like,

but won't be wearing
:

over the knee boots

they usually look like Pretty Woman,
but this looks great

some sparkle and shine for daywear,

maybe a scarf, we'll see

Chrissy recently picked out this little number for me;

She knows my style perfectly.

It is a $400. Michael Kors jacket

She got it for $4.99, at the thrift store

I love it.

It looks like we are heading back to more classic tailoring

I'm thrilled!

I need to visit this thrift store! Ours has a special section for the designer stuff - someone who works there knows a little too much about fashion. You need an ignorant bunch to get the good deals. Of course, you also need to be a knowledgable shopper and I would have know idea I had even found a gem. It looks SO cute!

That was so fun, getting you all fitted like that :-) My photographs and my outifit on this post... an honor having such a hand in An Artist's View!

Love your fashion and love your style! Everytime I've seen you or a picture of you, you look sooooo put together. MANY times over the years, I have wished that you would come and help me with my fashion (and house). Maybe someday my wish will come true, but in the mean time, thanks for getting us all up on the latest fashion trends. I don't check out the magazines, so it's nice that you do, and that you pass on the info to us.

Ok so I'm still good with my hound's tooth skirt, which actually inspired you, the fashionista author, to buy the same one! I wore my upper calf length leather skirt on Sunday which never goes out of style but I worried still, but thanks to this post I know I'm highly in style :) And I LOVE your new coat!

$400!? I'd flip it and put up on Ebay! (that's probably why I don't have any nice clothes)

About Me

My photo
I married my high school sweetheart 34 years ago in the LDS Temple. I have 4 children (3 married, and a 14 year old) and 6 grandchildren. I lived my entire life in California, until 6 years ago. I now reside in San Antonio, Texas. The most important thing to me is my family; I have invested the most in them and it has paid great dividends. I love doing anything creative that beautifies my surroundings and I love nature. I minored in Art and majored in Interior Design at BYU, yet, my profession is a Tax Preparer.
