My house can't handle this much longer

Photobucket

tax season is tough on my house

. . . . and my family

******

I enjoy doing taxes,

but sometimes, it can be stressful
. . .

some people get angry at the messenger

when they owe the IRS.

And certain office managers can be very overbearing

It's draining.

So I don't feel like doing much after I get home from work.

Steve makes dinner fairly often;

he is wonderful that way.

I walk in the door, go straight to my room and come out in my robe

ahhhhh

my robe says, "you're home dear, relax"

then, I read blogs and watch TV

I took a photo tour of my house today,

it wasn't pretty
Photobucket
the dogs were in a lot this winter, because it was freezing

hence, furry dust bunnies,

plus, we have leaves that blew in the back door

and green thread bunnies from a sewing project.

if you look closely at the dog photo, the leaves are in it,

and a pair of Chloe's blue socks

I have no idea how long they have been there;

I haven't deep cleaned since
David and Walt visited in January.

For a truly clean house, I need visitors at least once a month

You know . . . . there's no clean like company's coming clean.

Will you come and visit ?

. . . . please

Diane, you are not alone. :)

Since starting my internship, I am on my feet all day, essentially performing for little kids. I love it, but it is exhausting. I haven't has visitors since Mark left... Our house needs to be "company is coming" clean too!

My house is in "your gonna be moving out soon and you'll have to deep clean it right before you leave anyway" dirty mode.

It's amazing how much cleaning I can get done in an hour when people are coming over...things that take me days to slowly do during a normal week just get done. I am expecting a very clean house when we arrive on Friday, so you better get to it :-)!

We're comin' tomorrow!

Umm .. just kidding. But I thought you'd like the motivation.

I don't really clean unless we have people over. It's awful the way my family lives until guests arrive. It's gross actually.

Just a little while longer .. April will be here before you know it!

I appreciate all of your comments on this one guys. Marci hit it on the head; all it takes is a call that the Home Teacher is coming over and stuff that takes me a week is done in minutes. and Stephanie, you cracked me up again, I didn't know you were so funny!

This is partly why I'm excited about Chrissy and Chloe's arrival. Much needed deep cleaning will take place. It is good to know that your house, which looks perfect whenever I visit, doesn't always necessarily look that way :-)

I love this photo of the dogs...it's like they're saying, "Hey, this is OUR house too!" So cute...and their paws!! What's also funny is that even the dogs' dust bunnies are cute...
