You know how

they have those City Trash Cleanups every few months?

and people put tons of stuff out on their curb?

And every time you jog/walk past it

you can't help but shop?

and sometimes it's pretty good stuff?

well, today, I came home with this quilt

Photobucket

washed it

twice.

then refashioned it into something for The Boys.

Now, that's an improvement over their old sleeping bag

don't they look happy?

Now you, nor I, would ever dream of napping on refashioned trash,
but since my dogs' idea of a good time is rolling in their poo,
this, for them, represents abundant luxury.

AWWW Look at the puppieeessss!!! They are soo sooo cute! I want to cuddle and love them. My little Apache dog would looove your dogs and he would have the utmost respect for them. :) I wish they could play together. My doggie also needs a nice bed like this. I refuse to pay $50 for one though. You are SO smart.

"We love it mom!" they are saying as they sleep so peacefully.

Such cute doggies!! They look so happy. The quilt fabric is really quite pretty too, against your tile. I did something like this for our doggies...I went to a 2nd-hand store and found a couple of old quilts and pillows for a few dollars, washed them and our doggies have new beds! It's much cheaper than paying the $30-50 they charge at Walmart for pet beds, and the dogs love their beds...(-:

Their new beds look soooo much better than the sleeping bag we had laying out for them. Thank you sweetheart!
Which reminds me.....I must get that sleeping cleaned before we take it camping. Unless we take the dogs camping with us.... No that's gross.

I left a comment on this post! I must have not hit submit or something...so weird. Anyway, it said something to the effect of how it is nice that the fabric even compliments their fur color and that I agree with Chrissy about their gray faces...it makes them look distinguished.
