My Lucky Number is Nine

Today, I must acknowledge 09-09-09,

The very LAST time we will see single digit dates for a century.

Now, THAT is worth noting.

I am ashamed to admit I never appreciated 01-01-01 or 02-02-02...etc.

Thankfully, I have one last chance:

So let us celebrate 09-09-09 !

Hip Hip Hooray !

. . . . and the best part is: 9 is my lucky number!
I need to do something special today.

you have got me thinking. How old will I be when
01-23-45 rolls around? 91! Now that's a date to look forward to with you.

Charlotte was born on 12-3-4....well more like 12-03-04 but it was still cool. It was also Grandpa Don's birthday!

Tige, I will set aside the date for us :)

Zach, you are the main reason a made that bread because you had eaten it before and really liked it....so I HAD to share with YOU, Enjoy!

Michele, that IS cool. and makes it easy to remember Charlotte's birthday, and Don's too :)

I, too, loved the Amish bread! If had actually taken the dough that was supposed to go with it, I would have just made another batch for us (especially while I still had your pan :)

I read an article about 9-9-9 last night and THANK GOODNESS I did! Otherwise this fascinating mathematical anomaly would have completely gone unnoticed!

How funny today when I wrote the date mom I thought I remembered 9 being your lucky number and wondered if you were enjoying the date.

That's crazy about the single digit fact too.

Also I must have eaten a different recipe of Amish friendship bread because it was really gross, I'll have to try yours :)
