rarely, if ever, seen in my life.
I was thankful to have a camera nearby to record it
in the event no one believes me.
It was 4:40 in the afternoon, and this was in my bed:
Chloe, napping.
I have known Chloe 12 years and she never naps.
not ever.
not even as an infant.
she needs less sleep than any human being I know, which is a bad match up with me, her mom,
who needs more than most people I know.
-------------------
She likes Steve and I to stay up until she goes to sleep; it makes her feel comforted and safe.
Many a night, I am dying to go to bed and have to wait for her to get tired. I barely outlast her.
I truly wish I had her energy!

Great photo! She looks adorable. :)
Did the sound of the camera wake her up? Poor thing, she's a little wind-up doll.
She looks so cute in that picture...and cozy too...I think I'm ready for a nap!
Maybe she was just resting her eyes...Grandma Angus didn't believe in taking naps, she always would say, I'm just resting my eyes.
Yeah I talked to Chloe yesterday a few hours before her nap and she said she was thinking of taking a nap. I was shocked, I don't think I've ever seen her nap or heard of her napping! I sure wish I got those genes.
