Happy Halloween

Photobucket

Chloe had two church parties in addition to Trick or Treating.

When you are 12, that calls for more than one costume.

Miss Chloe is EXTREMELY creative . . . .this is what she came up with:

costume #1: Lion

"Mom, I am going to be a dead cheerleader for Trick or Treat
because it is so much cuter than the lion costume I wore to the church party."

"oh?"

"Will you help me with my ponytails?"

"sure"

"I want straight ponytails, rubber banded below my ears"

"But,Cheerleaders usually have high curly ponytails"

"But,Mom, I am a DEAD cheerleader"

"huh?" (squinting)

"why are you acting like that?"

"I just didn't realize there was a protocol for dead cheerleaders"

who knew?

costume #2: Dead Cheerleader

Then, we were haunted by a Spirit . . . .

. . . . The Spirit of Texas football

The Pom Squad . . . .

You guys are all so festive! Did you and Steve go to the ward party too or you just dressed up to hand out the candy? I love Zach's pose :-)

This was just a spur of the moment kind of party. Around noon today I said I was going to dress like ZZ Top and I asked you (Diane) if you had a black wig.
Well........................
Come sun down, Cher appears. WOW!
Chrissy and Zack brought about a dozen 50 cent corn dogs from Sonic.......the party is on! I set up a wireless amplifier on our porch and when the doorbell rang, I would start playing LaGrange and Cher would hand out candy.
I now have a crush on Cher!!!!
(just look at the pictures)

You're right Steve. Cher is so cute! Cher is beautiful, and looks alot like Naomi in some of those pics. Everyone's costume is great. I love how your family got into the fun spirit of Howl-o-ween. ( I wore orange as my festive costume).

Miss Marci, we couldn't go to the Ward Party because our car broke down...so we spent Friday night at the BMW dealership and Chrissy kindly took Chloe to the party. Sometimes it seems like too much trouble to dress up, I usually opt for Lynne's costume. But last night I was reminded of how fun it is; we were in full party mode and had a great time! The only way it could have been better is if you guys and Brili were there!
